Mabira forest steadily being lost to illegal logging

Mabira is the second largest natural forest in the country. It lies on 300 square kilometres along the Kampala-Jinja highway in Buikwe district. However, illicit logging threatens the extinction of this forest, which holds in its embrace flora, fauna and meandering streams.
