On 29-March 2006, Environmental Alert Won the Energy Globe Energy Award 2005 (Earth Category) for the project “Integrated Nutrient Management to attain sustainable productivity increases in East African Farming systems (INMASP)”, which employed “Simple farming methods which effectively help improve the Nutrition situation of Ugandan People in a Sustainable manner”. The ENERGY GLOBE Award was founded in 1999 by the Austrian energy pioneer Wolfgang Neumann and is one of today’s most prestigious environmental awards.
