Environmental Alert partners with Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development to support the Energy week 2018 (24th – 29th September, 2018 at KCC grounds)

The energy week is an annual campaign organized by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development. The campaign focuses on sustainable use of energy as well as access to clean energy technologies and further provides a platform for all sector players, service providers, utility operators and commercial enterprises to unite, educate, network, dialogue, exchange ideas, market, sell, distribute and sensitize the public about the products and services within the energy sector.

This year’s energy week will run from 24th -29th September 2018 at KCCA grounds Lugogo.  The theme is ‘Transforming energy sector through increased innovation, investment and integration for future sustainability of Uganda’s energy sector.’  You are all invited to participate in this event!

The energy week focuses on ensuring access to affordable, reliable, Sustainable and clean energy for all, thus implementing the sustainable Development Goal no.7

The objective of the energy week 2018 is to facilitate the exchange of ideas and discussions on pertinent energy related issues and engage stakeholders in the energy sector on matters of energy access and sustainable development. For details
